Yi Liao, PhD student and HCAT Lab Associate Director, defended her comprehensive exams in September 2024. Yi wrote her comprehensive responses over the summer during her 30-day exam window. During her defense, Yi demonstrated an excellent mastery of the literature and impressed her committee with thoughtful and deep responses.

Now that she has completed the comprehensive exams, Yi is crafting her prospectus.
