Once again, HCAT lab hosted a writing retreat in beautiful Park City, UT. The writing retreat was October 11th – 14th, 2017. The attendees were Lisa Guntzviller, Andy King, Courtney Scherr, Kevin K. John, Manusheela Pokharel, Chelsea Ratcliff, Kaylee Crossley, Katheryn Christy, Hannah Badal, Kevin Coe, and Brandon Rivera-Melo. We missed Rob Yale (a lot).

Jake dressed up a the Dread Pirate Roberts Professor Jensen. We tracked our progress this year by putting post-its on the wall of the kitchen. Lisa taught a workshop on regression. We played a super championship of darts (Courtney was the mega grand champion supreme). And we wrote lots of manuscripts. Our quick turnarounds ended up consuming most of the retreat as we had lots of those and we, perhaps, prematurely labeled them quick.
